A Bio cell sewage treatment unit in each individual villa

Each villa at Malabar Hill is equipped with its own Bio-cell system, designed to capture and treat wastewater directly at the source. In our kitchen, we’ve installed dedicated grease and oil traps, along with a separate wastewater treatment plant—ensuring that every drop is responsibly managed and returned to the environment with care.

Solar powered hot water in all villas – Electric heaters in place for backup

All villas use solar energy for water heaters, with electric backups available to always ensure comfort.  Almost all our lighting is LED.

Salt water chlorinated pools – Main pool and in all villas

All sixteen pools at Malabar Hill use saltwater chlorination, a gentler and more natural and sustainable alternative to traditional chlorine systems.

Refillable glass bottles in all villas – Refilled and sealed industrially

Each villa is thoughtfully stocked with refillable glass water bottles, sealed for safety and freshness. This simple yet impactful choice helps eliminate single-use plastics, aligning with our commitment to conscious living and environmental care.

Lighting enhancements

We repurpose spent kitchen oil from frying to fuel our ceramic oil lamps — an intentional choice that allows us to avoid wax-based alternatives while honouring a more natural, waste-free approach to illumination.
